Starhill Gallery are located just opposite the Pavilion Shopping Complex, in the golden triangle of Kuala Lumpur. This building is probably on of the most iconic shopping mall in Kuala Lumpur. I’ve seen the construction process as I always be in that area during weekend. In fact, I’ve been in the building before as Starhill hotel offers quite a cheap RM7.00 per entrance car’s parking. Starhill contain quite a number of luxury shops, boutique and not to forget fine dining.

This 2,000 sqm building were designed by Stephen Pimbley, the founding director of Sparch. The main contractor for Starhill Gallery was the local company which is Syarikat Pembenaan Yeoh Tiong Lay Sdn Bhd (SPYTL). Sparch replaced the café at the entrance of Starhill Gallery with an iconic triple height shopping pavilion for the French luxury retailer LVMH and their cosmetics brand Sephora. Sephora is, in turn, connected to Starhill via a first floor bridge that pierces the new crystalline facade.
